        OnePlus, one of the affordable flagship smartphones producer have announced the higher specced new OnePlus 8. Eventhough the design is much familiar to us from other flagships, the punch-hole selfie camera does adds to its beauty. 

        The phone comes with a 6.55-inch touchscreen 'waterfall' display with an aspect ratio of 20:9. With a brilliant resolution of 1080x2400 pixels at a pixel density of 402ppi, the smartphone provides the best viewing experience. The glass body gives a sleek and stylish look for the device. Another interesting feature to note is that the company have swapped the pop-up camera which was introduced in the previous model with the punch-hole camera.

        With the latest octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor and 8GB of RAM, OnePlus 8 costing around RS. 44,999 will be the cheapest 5G phone in many markets.

OnePlus 8 Glacial Green

OnePlus 8 smartphone was launched on 14th April 2020. The OnePlus 8 runs OxygenOS based on Android 10 and is powered by a 4300mAh non-removable battery. The OnePlus 8 supports the fast charging feature of OnePlus named Warp Charge 30T.

        Considering the camera, the rear triple camera supports auto-focus and will be comprised of a primary 48-megapixel camera with a f/1.75 aperture; a second 16-megapixel camera with a f/2.2 aperture and a third 2-megapixel camera with a f/2.4 aperture. The front facing camera of 16-megapixel with a f/2.45 aperture helps you take stunning selfies.

OnePlus 8 Onyx Black

        Connectivity options on the OnePlus 8 include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v5.10, NFC, USB Type-C, 5G, 4G and 3G. Sensors on the phone include in-display fingerprint sensor accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and compass/ magnetometer. The OnePlus 8 supports face unlock feature which was also available in the previous models. The Oneplus 8 is more water resistant compared to previous ones due to the removal of pop-up camera feature.

        The RAM provided will be 8GB with 128GB of inbuilt storage. The OnePlus 8 is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts two Nano-SIM cards. The dimensions are 160.20 x 72.90 x 8.00mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 180 grams. Available in three main colors: Glacial Green, lnterstellar Glow, and Onyx Black.
